I am a reporter and editor based in Berlin, specialising in Europe's politics and economy. I was previously a senior journalist at the BBC and Europe correspondent at the New Statesman before that.
I have reported from across Europe on war, migration, protest movements, elections and more. My work has also been published in the Financial Times, the Guardian, TIME, Prospect, the Spectator, VICE, Haaretz and others.
My reporting has taken me to countries including Germany, Poland, France, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Finland covering war, migration, protest movements, elections and more. As a journalist, I work across a variety of formats, including writing for the web and print, hosting podcasts and presenting video segments.
I am also an editor and copywriter, able to apply my experience writing and editing clean copy to a wide range of topics.
Outside of work, I enjoy street photography, rock climbing and running.
